Intensity of light
If love is light, each room’s brilliance dazzles
The whole house glows - who cares about the bill?
Dimming these lights won’t make them last longer
Each deliberately darkened room drains light
Till I can’t move for fear of sharp edges.
The walls seem closer and all the doors closed.
In this cramped dark space
What will I become?
